    The small, worthwhile Museo del Fin del Mundo holds exhibits on the region's history and wildlife, including the polychrome figurehead of the Duchess of Albany, an English ship wrecked on the eastern end of the island in 1883; a one-gram gold coin minted by Julius Popper in 1889; and a rare example of a Selk'nam– Spanish dictionary written by Salesian missionary José María Beauvoir.
