Swedish currency is the krona (plural kronor), made up of 100 öre. It comes in coins of 50 öre, 1kr, 2kr, 5kr and 10kr; and notes of 20kr, 50kr, 100kr, 500kr and 1000kr. The exchange rates at time of writing were: 14kr for £1; 7.88kr for $1 and 9.49kr for €1.
