The Óbuda Museum (Óbudai Múzeum) is a fascinating local history collection with reconstructed living-rooms and workshops, one from the Sváb (German) community on the northern edge of Buda – including a pre-electric washing machine – and one from a middle-class household where Art Nouveau holds sway. There's also a cute collection of antique toys.
