Helsinki's oldest stone building, Sederholm House, dates from 1757. It now houses a small museum concentrating on aspects of eighteenth-century life in the city, with particular reference to industrialist Johan Sederholm. There are exhibitions on trade, education and construction, but what makes it perhaps most enjoyable is the eighteenth-century music collection – you can ask to hear a range of classical CDs while you wander around.
