A high-tech record of Helsinki life can be found at the City Museum, where a permanent exhibition entitled "Time" gives glimpses of Helsinki from its origins as a country village right up to the present day. It's an impressive show, beautifully lit with fibre optics and halogen lamps, though the chronology jumps around disconcertingly.
