Weather
Most travellers come to T&T between January and March, during the Carnival season when the climate is at its most forgiving (25–30°C/72–87°F). By May, the dryseason parches the lush landscape and bush fires often rage through the hills. The rainyseason starts in June and lasts till December, but in September there's usually a dry spell known as the petit carem, an Indian summer of two to four weeks.
